CRUNCH!!!!! - The Photos
Follow-up about our car accident on Friday night.
This afternoon the damage was inspected and we found out the dealership where we normally take the car for servicing also does body repair work, so we were very happy about that. My mom & I really like the people there and trust them and they always take good car of us and our car. :)
True to their reputation, the guy at the dealership was great and said since the car was drivable and they had to wait for parts to arrive anyway, that we could keep the car until next week. He expects the parts to arrive Thursday or Friday and will call us to let us know. Not that I imagine we'll be going anywhere, but since we can use the car, it's nice to still have it here in case we do need it. And this way we'll probably only be without it for a week instead of two. :)
So here's our car's owie, as we're calling it. We're joking that we should put a band-aid on the hole. Our poor baby!
It's kind of amazing that the lights all still work!
The side panel is also pushing against the passenger side door a little, which causes it to make a little crunching noise when you open the door and chipping the paint a bit.
You can see the white paint smudge from the other car.
