Just came across this article on Yahoo...

The 10 Shows That Deserve to Return Next Fall (But Might Not)The one show on the list that I care about? Fringe. Yikes. I had no idea it was in trouble. I thought the ratings were good. I'm hoping, *fingers crossed*, that if FOX has to decide between Fringe and Dollhouse that they'll go with Fringe.

From what I've read, it's further effects of the failing economy. They're not willing to give struggling shows any chance at all anymore. Not that they produce anything better to replace it, but for the network execs it's all about the almighty dollar. Never mind that they're further alienating their audience by their crazy tactics. *sigh*

This is the first time I see Fringe on a "endangered shows" list, which I think is a sign that it's mostly safe. At least I hope it is. But the one show I'll be really sad to see go is Chuck and that will most likely be its fate.

I hope it is a good sign, like you said. But Fox is very unpredictable and prone to canceling shows on a whim.
