Sadly, we just lost the great director, Stanley Donen, last week. So I thought it all too fitting to post a scene from one of the films he's probably known for best, "Singing In The Rain". I was really saddened to hear he'd died, this has to be one of my all time favourite films and this whole scene is just hysterical.

I grew up watching so many great musicals, this one included. I still remember bouncing around on our couch, mimicking Donald O'Connor.

'Singing In The Rain' is one of my all time favourite movies ever and I'm very sad to hear Mr.Donen's passing... I guess since Gene's already in heaven so they're making another great musical there.

And Donald, and Debbie....yes, so many of the great stars from that Golden Age are gone. :(
It truly never gets old.
