I'm sorry to hear you've been in that situation again. It seems people in general believe if you find anything nice on any website, you can post it to their own SNS without any credit those they get from. Really sad indeed. I too was stolen some of my pictures I'd posted it to FB's fan community. She/he had such a nerve to post it to the same FB fan community I had posted it first after photoshopped it. I was really pissed off because that picture was not some promotional one, rather very privately taken(the actor in question was that very kind to me, for I'm from far from his country). I don't mind MY sharing it with the other but I DO mind when they photoshopped it without contacting me first. So I kind of understand how you feel.
Again, sorry those people is Ahondara(it's Japanese dialect, means a******).
I'm not immune to the whole posting without credit. I've only done it with gifs that I often find on Twitter or Tumblr. But that's only because it's often so difficult to track down the original person who created or posted the gif. I really do appreciate when people watermark their gifs because then the credit is right there.
Ugh, people who photoshop or crop others photos are the worst! I'm sorry you had that problem. *hugs*
That's so frustrating, it doesn't take a moment to add the source of a screencap or photo/gif. I always try to add the source if I know it. Some people are just plain inconsiderate.
I've thought of it and lots of others have suggested it, but it would just be more work for me. To go through all that work for one bad fan? It's just not worth it. If they post another one of my caps w/out credit I'll leave another comment - one not so nice. But after a while, I'll just have to give up the fight.
