Another time he knocked up a giantess, and their son was the gigantic god-eating wolf Fenrir. Their other son was a serpent so large he could wrap himself around the world and bite his own tail.
What examples did you think I had in mind when I said no mythology would be complete without it? ;) Well, that and various Greek and Egyptian incidents. And those were just the ones I've read enough about to remember off hand.
I had some problem with the Being Human finale - I thought it was overly melodramatic / talky - but most of the season was downright excellent, probably the best yet.

I've re-read Good Intentions the other day as I was undergoing Sudden Deadpool Craving - almost dropped you a comment but I didn't want to be pushy ^^;; and I love that fic muchly & the last chapter of Summers' son but I also love muchly ;) glad you're not giving up on it despite slow progress!
I had some problem with the Being Human finale - I thought it was overly melodramatic / talky - but most of the season was downright excellent, probably the best yet.
I could have done without the last minute interruption by the next season set-up vampire myself, but otherwise I think the melodrama/talky stuff was what I liked most about it. If any scenario could have called for melodrama and an extra round of talking through everything to make sure the right decision was being made, I felt like this was it.
Agreed on the quality of the series as a whole. Wasn't hugely fond of the second and third episodes, but once things it really kept me on the edge of my seat. They even mostly managed to sell me on the idea of Mitchell/Annie, which I really wasn't expecting.

heh, I feel like the most an event is earnestly serious and dramatic in itself, the more the narrative execution should be understated and let the drama flow from the event itself. I see your point about the necessity of talking about though, but to me it just made it feel awkward. And yeah, the interruption was just silly (I found the obligatory set up for next season also very annoying last season ending).
