This is a slightly bigger deal than most of the cons we go to, since it's interstate and one of few chances we get to meet up with all the people we know who've moved out to that side of the country in the

The whole thing looks very clean! It's quite awesome. Did you get the stars printed on?

I bet that crest started out as a nice big stained glass window in the castle somewhere. Then right after they were done with construction, there was this incident with a bird... and everyone's just been trying to pretend it's meant to look like that ever since.

Yeah, the stars were an Embroidme job (considered trying to do them myself out of fabric for about five minutes before deciding fuck it, not worth the hastle). But at least I get to say I cut out all the gold edging by hand. Just finished hemming the blue and gluing all the gold down last night, still have to sew it on to the cape.

*g* That's our salt shaker - bought it at a con earlier in the year. Almost cropped it out of the pic, but I changed my mind.

Not exactly, though the yellow star design is heat-pressed vinyl and the gold edges are regular gold vinyl ironed on to some interfacing to get all the edges to line up neatly. I'm still dithering over a couple of possible methods of attaching everything together from here.

I hadn't even thought about it yet, but I'd definitely like to. Is anyone organising a table this year?
