Ideas do this thing where they spawn other ideas. Often these turn into sequels, but other times you just get random junk, which is a long way of saying that this is one that started way back when I was writing the first part of Of Flower Girls and Falling Stars and has been put off being finished ever since. ^_^ I always liked it, even if I did sometimes think maybe there could have been a little more involved in adding someone who'd attacked you and tried to steal all your money to the party. (But, since you've read this, you would have guessed all that already. ^^;;)

This is quite good!
Very refreshing to have a pure FF7 fic in this day and age. Very enjoyable, I could totally imagine the characters in their lego glory (esp. Barret).

Yeah, that was one of the most enjoyable things about writing this too. The newer installments are all well and good, but there's at least as much fun to be had revisiting the older stuff once in a while.

lol, oh boy... would they ever regret it. Do you know how annoyed I was to be chasing Yuffie all over Wutai just to get back my materia?

This was really funny, I hope that the others don't see Cloud less in their eyes as it was his idea to let her join in the first place... but I guess it would all be forgiven, considering that she was a good addition to the party... (shh... actually she was the only female I had in a party...willingly that it) I usually stuck with the guys, unless the game MADE me have Aerith or Tifa in it... sighs...

Heh, I'd been spoiled enough that I knew that part was coming, so it didn't bug me much. I really did like all the FFVII characters - Aeris and Tifa included - but Yuffie's definitely always been my favourite of the girls.

Well, to keep it in perspective, by that stage Cait Sith had already turned out to be working for Shinra, and later on there's the part where Cloud hands the black materia over to Sephiroth, so it's hardly like Yuffie's the only one who's ever given them any grief. Still, it is hard to believe that whole section could have gone down without someone saying "I knew we shouldn't have brought her along! I *knew* it!" somewhere along the way.
