After a crazy long hiatus of my even crazier year of study abroad, I finally went and got organized. FIRST OF ALL: I was literally just talking about you on the phone with takethewords last night, all about how we need another update of In Human Hands like our next breath and while we're at it WHATEVER ELSE you'd like to honor the world with writing and the many myriad of methods we could use to get you back to us, one of which being a graphic she'd made of The Mechanic and Rose for tumblr because yes, your fic is just that amazing. AND NOW HERE YOU ARE. Kismet.

SECOND OF ALL: Wandering around lost in Barcelona sounds glorious. And I'm stopping there so I don't go on to talk about how all the writing you got done is even better because THAT WOULD JUST BE RIDICULOUS RIGHT LOL RIGHT.

Dude, excellent, yes, also fanart, what? That is excellent. That is a wonderful thing to find after a thought process that went more or less like "Essays are finally done, can't stop working yet, screw the creative writing project, must archive own fanfiction, go go go". I kind of haven't stopped yet. By haven't stopped yet, I mean I've been set on Productive/Adventure Mode since, uh, April 2nd. Which isn't actually a productive mode for IHH because it's at the place where I need to be careful and so my essay-pressured surge of needing to creatively write somehow popped out in the BBC Sherlock fandom. (Because writing an essay on three other forms of Holmes wasn't enough, you see.) Also, I have found completed Who fic that I never actually posted anywhere, so that'll be going up soonish, depending on whether or not I run it by my busy beta. Not Doctor/Rose - just a crack idea that went viral in my brain, oh, four years ago

It has been an amazing, busy-busy time. Not done yet, but with classes over, I finally have time to return to the internet. It is good to be back.

I stumbled across one of your stories not too long ago, and then proceeded to read everything (Doctor Who-ish) I could find that you had written. You're an amazing writer, and I'm so excited to see that you are posting again!

I added you as a friend on your new writing journal so I can keep up with your stories, but I wondered if I could add you here as well? I am not a creepy person, I promise. Weird, but not creepy.
