It's pretty hard to believe it's August already. Time has absolutely flown by since I've been back in Chicago! I still have dreams regularly about Japan and traveling. 1. Super cute apartment! And don't feel bad - Max and I have been living together for three years and STILL have no coffee table. I plan to rectify this, once we move into the house, but still. Seriously.

2. I feel the exact same way re: my coffee shop job. It's a piece of crap, I get treated like crap by some of the customers, I'm "wasting" my education...but I'm earning regular money, including great tips, I love my coworkers, I love my regulars, and I, too, only work four days a week.

Don't feel so bad about the sushi place job. It's great you have good coworkers and a comfortable salary. i don't think it's possible to waste experience, but you can always get NEW experience!

I've been playing Koto since I got back, but not nearly with the discipline that I played with back in Nagoya. And what's scary is I just typed 'home' instead of Nagoya.
