More on Aomori

After actually reading the Wikipedia article for Aomori Prefecture, I've come to the conclusion that people there are completely crazy and I'm kind of in love with it. Here's an excerpt from an article published in Metropolis:
. . . Some [people in the small town of Herai in Aomori] maintain this to be the place where Jesus [YES THE JESUS] settled

I keep meaning to comment about Aomori and keep not having time! Long story short, I have a friend who lived in Akita and loooooved it, so most of what I've heard about the northern bits of Honshu is awesome, I really wanted to visit but never had the chance. I think getting off the beaten track and out into a small community where you can really connect with the locals is a great experience and I would embrace the chance, if I were you! I'm really excited for you!!
