Raku I think you are a sexy beast, feel free to do either one (though they both seem like a lot of work, filters and new journals and whatnot), anything is good as long a) as it's beneath a cut b) I get to seeeeeee it.
thanks amei =) yeah haha, i have to go and make a new filter now and move stuff around... which is good, been meaning to for a while now! i keep missing people's art journals at times since i lump them with my art community filter and that stuff gets swamped quick. argh!
thanks again for your input! and gah yeah, i had to change my journal settings now to have "adult content" and it does this weird censoring thing i didn't realize if you view my journal without a age listed. bah...
I feel like that "adult content" setting must be new. 'Cause I never noticed it before a few weeks ago? I think, if you're not logged in, what it does is put all your entries behind a "POSSIBLE ADULT CONTENT!" cut.
Honestly though, if all your adult posts are friends-only AND you've created your own "adult content" filter that people need to specifically comment on to view, I really don't think you need to use the "mature content" setting. It's not like anyone is going to stumble on that stuff by accident, without taking specific measures to obtain access to it in the first place. I think that setting is more for journals who have "questionable" content peppered throughout, without any locks or individual warnings.

(LOL, I wrote a disclaimer for my blog a couple days ago that reads almost the same as this one.)
