haha, yeah total nostalgia bomb right there when i found it online. i remember always getting bummed out on saturday mornings when soul train would start, signaling the end of all the cartoons that day.
Wow, I loved that video! I have a weird love for music from the 20s-60s and this fits right in. :) They're so--as everyone else has said--hot! Love it!
Also I must've been very young when they played those bumpers, but I still remember them. Cartoons these days don't cut it!
i saved your journal from a long time ago - i can't even remember how long ago - because a friend of mine from the wonderful world of AOL (name: holly) linked me to it because we were friends in AOL land (in anime gaming). where you were "bard." anyway, i just clicked on your profile now, and, of course, was like, "who is this?" and eventually got to... "oh yes, this is BARD!" and then i looked at your facebook and saw you live in seattle (i do as well)! i wonder if two strangers who knew each other on aol only have ever passed each other in real life?
