My dad used to play in a band called the Dixiecats in Sutton (where my family is from) in the 50's. The class of '59 asked him to play for their 50th reunion. My dad and his brother (another former Dixiecat), my brother and I played the date last night, with era-appropriate music. Yay you! Finally. Isn't is just the best!! I miss it, myself. There is a jam night down the street I've been toying with attending. Of all people, my x-boyfriend hosts it (No, not Terry LOL)on Wednesday nights. He would just shit if I walked through the door.
