Preparation for Marriage should prove to be an interesting class.  I think it will involve a lot of procrastinating.

Assignment 1: 2 pages on why and when you want to get married.  Not too bad, since nobody has to read it but the grader.  Of course, I wrote it while watching Stargate, so it remains to be seen how well I did on it... *hangs head ( Read more... )

Ah yes, the mini dates. It is so much easier to do the assignments for that class when you are engaged. For one of the mini dates John and I went to Cold Stone and ate ice cream while asking each other the questions. Have fun!

It seems like cheating to take it when your engaged... I mean, most of the assignments are geared towards getting you engaged. And yet, I would do the same thing as you in that situation and not feel guilty a bit...

I took it because it was one of my major classes and I thought it sounded interesting. John took it with me, and Dr. Barlow loved to point out how cute we were. We were always his example of "touching" on a date because we were always holding hands, or John would have his arm around me or something.

It is geared towards getting you engaged, and as Dr. Barlow points out he has a pretty good track record for engagements from his classes. :)
