Your writing never fails to amaze me and this is no exception. I love the sort of tense-ness in the air, the history between Ryo and Shige, the love that's binding them both together and yet is also driving Shige away, Shige's realization that he needs Ryo and ugh, this story was just PERFECT.

The whole feel of the fic is sweet and nostalgic and sad all at once, and I love the progression and your choice of words, just, lovely and I felt my heart squeeze more than once. NEVER STOP WRITING.
