2. Don't forget tonight is the last House Ep until stupid Baseball is over and then House will be on at a different time... 9pm, after Idol.

I liked Heros, but didn't get a lot of it... need to rewatch!

I don't even want to THINK about American Idol and what that does to our Tuesdays. (we are avid watchers)

It just didn't grab me. I don't know why, it's right up my alley, but it was more "meh"

I need a few more eps. What I saw I liked... I just really couldn't follow parts... it was a very disjointed story. Hopefully in a few more eps, things will get clear... as soon they will all be in one place and have a common purpose, or so it appears...

Yeah, I think we're just done.

I know! I feel defective in someway. Andy and I watched the original pilot NBC released, and I was so excited, and we both just didn't like it.

So I heard they tweaked the pilot, so I watched part of it last night again, and I just wasn't sucked in.

I love the japanese worker, and the scientist, and Milo and his brother. I thought those characters were very interesting. I could care less for the cheerleader and Ali Larter's character. I love the premise and I want to love the show, I really tried, but I just didn't.

I would watch and give it another shot, but I tend to have issues watching shows I'm not in love with or have history with. This happened with Thief, Saved, and Windfall. We will watch a few episodes, and then our Tivo fills up with unwatched episodes. Especially now that TV time has been traded for Puppy time we can't watch everything anymore.

*nods* I get it - I've got to really love a show to watch regularly, and even stuff I like falls by the wayside.

Yeah, it happens. We watch SO much TV as is.

Why aren't more people talking about How I Met Your Mother

I haven't watched it yet, tonight though as I need my Barney fix. :) I feel for this show last year and was so pleased that many people did so I didn't lose yet another comedy. The one episode last year, where Barney and Ted fly to Philly... god it had me in tears from laughing.

Tuesdays are such a big night for TV - we have to use both Tivos and watch things live - seriously why is EVERYTHING on on Tuesday?

That's a lot on Tuesday. I watch NCIS, Eureka, Veronica Mars and Nip/Tuck, plus we're going to try the comedy of Notes from the Underbelly (when it starts in Nov.) And are you downloading the VM ep from MSN? I'm tempted as I can't wait to see it.

I hope you continue to enjyo Farscape as I totally loved it. the price of the DVDs is ridiculous. I just don't understand how they can charge that much when things like Buffy or Lost are 35 and 40 bucks.

I need a Eureka icon....

Yay!! Barney is so awesome! "Suit Up" and "Have you met Ted?" are just two of my favorites.

We don't watch Nip/Tuck, but when the Shield comes back that adds another for us.

Yay Farscape!

kate98" has some nice Eureka icons here: http://kate98.livejournal.com/205145.html

I like "it will be legend...dary". And for a while last year I would just blurt out... "have you met ted?" Barney is just great. I did enjoy the magic part of the episode this week, it was pretty cool.

Thanks for the headsup about the Eureka icons, I went and looked, very pretty. Saved one maybe to use later.

Thursday night is a bad night for us, but so far we've been doing fairly well. Of course we've done nothing but watch tv at night, but hey. :D

Thank goodness for THAT. If Jerry or the baby had bit the dust, I would have been an ex-viewer. The whole kidnap/rape storyline is bad enough.

You think about it, the lives of the people who work in that ER are pretty crappy. No wonder Carter left to be with Kem. he wanted to escape the unrelenting misery!

Exactly. I don't even want to watch anymore, but Andy does, and he keeps reminding me I have spent over a week of my life on this show. So . . .

There was a survey (in People, I think) that asked which hospital you would rather go to: Seattle Grace, Sacred Heart, Princeton Plainsboro, or County General.

I said Sacret Heart because even though Scrubs is a comedy, the doctors their actually DOCTOR. On Grey's it could be set anywhere, the hospital aspect is just the chosen setting. With House, who knows if the doctors other than Cuddy, House, and Wilson are any good? Unless you have cancer, a hard to diagnose disease, or something that brings Cuddy in, you might be screwed. And with County General - dude, people get shot more IN the ER than on the street. And bad things always happen!

Couty General is supposed to be Cook County Hospital here in Chicago. The ONLY reason I would visit that hospital is if I got shot in the street right outside the door. And I can't imagine what I would be doing in the street there, so hopefully I will never visit.

Yeah, Cook County isn't in the best neighborhood is it?

Tuesdays are just crazy for TV. It would be nice if some of it was spread throughout the rest of the week. Which, I guess is why TIVO was invented :)

I started watching Farscape the same way you are, in syndication. Once I got into it I wanted to get the DVDs and were shocked by how much they are. The starburst versions are much more affordable (but still a little more expensive when you buy three to complete a season then some of the other TV DVD seasons) and a couple of weeks ago Best Buy had the first two from season 1 and the first one from season 2 for $6.99. I'm not sure if they are still that cheap.

Yes! I just looked on Bestbuy.com and Starburts 1, 2, and 4 are still $6.99!! Andy and I put a moratorium on DVDs so we are discussing breaking it for this! I'd have to get 3 for $19.99, but it's still cheaper than buying the entire First Season. Yay!

Thank you for the link!

This is too funny because DH put a DVD hold on me too, but I was able to convince him to let me get those three sets. I have such a DVD buying addiction.
