I had actually forgotten that that's how/when we first 'met.' Oh, and have you heard that Ed is going off the air? I haven't actually been able to find any info on-line and so wasn't sure until last week's preview, but it looks like this week's episode, in which Ed and Carol are supposed to get married, will be the very last! =( I believe, since it's currently in Miss Match's timeslot (with no clear word as to when MM will return there), that Ed is up against something else you watch, like Joan of Arcadia. But I thought you might like to know in case you had a chance to catch Ed anyway.

I've actually caught the last two or three eps, because the shows I usually watch that were on at the same time, Life With Bonnie and Hope & Faith, aren't exactly the kind of thing where you're lost if you miss an ep or two. (Somehow, it seems that Joan's been airing before Ed, luckily.)
I saw the commercial mentioning it being the final episode and was concerned, but then I wondered (hoped) if maybe they just meant the final episode of the season. I think that's such a shame. :( Thank you so much for letting me know, though.
I still can't find any news bulletins actually confirming Ed's demise. But the futon critic lists it as "on hiatus or fate to be determined," and the tone of last week's preview sounded so final that it made me cry a little. ::sighs:: You're very right that it's a shame.
