...here on Dan and Casey's Dance Fever!

Sorry, had to end whoever was talking just now on ESPN with a quote from Sports Night.

Speaking of SN, after talking to gpsysngbrd, I found my old tape (back from when it aired on ABC!) of Cliff Gardner. ( Cut in the off chance you don't want spoilers from an episode that was first shown four years ago... )

Ha I told you "Cliff Gardner" was a great episode. I love character driven episodes like the whole scene in Dana's office. Thats why my other favorite episodes are Shoe Money Tonight and Dear Louise...well thats some of them. I admit it, I like all of them.

Yes, character driven episodes are definitely the best! :) I love all the episodes dealing with Dana and the stress of her job, or even just dealing with Dana, since she's my favorite character. (She and Dan, that is... but not as a couple! ;))

Im not a Dan/Dana (thats too weird to say) shipper either. But watch them in Shoe Money Tonight when Jeremy is giving his speech to Natalie. I havent decided what that was about. Maybe just a real life thing? Still cute.

Do you think Casey and Dana would have made it? I think theyre adorable but I also think they would do better as friends, theyd probably kill eachother or something. Sam Donovan--he would be a good match for Dana.

I've always wondered about Dan and Dana's "moment" in Shoe Money Tonight, too! I hadn't thought about the idea that it was just a real life thing. Hmmm. :)

You know, when the show was still on ABC (and for quite some time afterwards), I thought Casey and Dana could have made it. Should have made it. The more I thought about it, though, the more I started to think along your lines -- as adorable as they would be, they probably would kill each other, lol. Even when I used to write fan fic for them, they always ended up getting into fights. (I think I found them more interesting that way, too. Like in Intellectual Property, one of my absolute favorites.)

I couldn't stand Sam when the show was still on the air. I resented him for (at least what I perceived to be as) coming between Dana and Casey. (Although that was really the fault of the infamous dating plan, but I won't go into that here. :)) When I watch the reruns now, though, I think he's great. He added so much to the show.

I don't think I liked him quite as much during the original run either. William H. Macy just brings a certain something to every role so that, no matter what, I have to like his character at least a little -- often in spite of myself. *g*
