"Wacky" isn't the word I would use, but I do suppose it's an accurate one.

Nor I, but that's how it was phrased to me. It certainly is an interesting place though!

"Confusing" was closer to what I had in mind, but "interesting" is another accurate one.

Oh? Who told you that you were married?

Erk did!

I suspected as much.

I see. Did he tell you to whom you were related?

I suppose it had come up in conversation with Louise, likely from the strange events some time ago- but yes, he informed both of us.

It has indeed been interesting.

How are you faring, Lord Pent?

Ah, Louise! I was just thinking about you!

I've been quite well. And yourself?

Is that so? I'm honored! I must admit that I was just thinking about you, as well.

The same! I've finally found employment here, so I've been keeping busy.

It pleases me to hear that!

But that is good to know- ah, and what sort of thing do you do? I should really find something myself. Would that there was a position in the library, but I think they were full when I checked. I would probably find myself quite at home in such a place, but oh well. Surely I will find something else.

I'm a family man myself. Apparently. But that's certainly an optimistic point of view.

(Does everyone take these "wacky" events with this sort of humor? My stomach hurts at the thought...)

It's a wonderful thing, to know you have family! That probably sounds strange, but given this place and situation we're thrust into, it takes on a different level of meaning. I try to look at things in a positive light though, yes!

(This guy is one tough, wacky customer.)

I should try to adopt that kind of thinking. Is your family here?

I won't push you too it, but as easy as it is to focus on bad things, it only seems reasonable that one should better focus on something more pleasant. Doing the opposite will only serve to hinder a person, I think.

Ah, I've just recently learned that I'm married and my wife is present here, as well as our son!
