Oh that Jack sure knows how to get himself into trouble. One could even say he has an art for it, or even a vocation for it. In fact, one even suspects that he deliberately gets himself into trouble because it's such good entertainment value. And the make-up sex is just phenomenal!
I got a good chortle out of the boots reference. A nice homage to Pirate Way.
What gave me away? Was it Will's utter disrespect of Jack's goods? The blatant disregard for orders? (Well, almost.) The pounding of Jack's ... er, goods? ;-)
I'm happy you liked it - slash is not to everybody's taste (I know, it didn't used to be mine), but I always try to throw a bit of humor and conversation in with teh pr0n. :-)
Yes. Oh, yes. I knew it was you. If the absolute mastery of writing these two hadn't given it away, then the oranges would have :D
I've attempted to write some sort of coherent feedback a couple of times now, but really, all I can manage is to say that this - this is the very thing that got me head-over-heels without mercy into Turrow in the first place - your writing. This is what kept me here in the fandom long enough to pluck up the courage to make my own contributions.
Dude, your writing is truly fab. Perfect characterisation; perfect plotting and pacing; perfect banter - and without doubt still the hottest of hot hot sex. You've got their dynamic down to a fine art, and it's a joy to read them together the way that you write them.
Also, I've got to say, I truly admire Will's restraint for not smacking Jack across his pert little bum while he had him thrown over his shoulder :D
(Hey, I've never got to fangirl you for Turrow before - not properly, anyway *fangirls away in a truly embarrassing manner with trumpets and fanfares*
You LIKE me! You REALLY like me!veronica_richJuly 20 2008, 16:27:15 UTC
Channeling some Gloria Swanson there ...
Um ... considering YOUR contributions to Turrow thus far (which are not posted nearly widely enough in the fandom), the fact you would credit your involvement to me is nearly enough to make me faint with teh happeh. *G* I'll happily take blame for "Call" and all the others and the artwork and such.
And I'll reiterate what I've told others elsewhere: It's metalkatt who is largely responsible for how my Will turns out, even when she doesn't help write it. She established a lot about his character development in my fanon before DMC or AWE, that turned out to be correct (growing up, more confident, better able to negotiate). And the oranges and citrus are all hers.

Jack has great memories of those boots. And Will. And boots. Will just wants Jack not stinky. LOL!

I loved this! The head butting was perfect, and I love their banter. Sorry I missed it earlier, but well worth the wait.
And it helped get the bad taste out of my mouth from the fic that shall not be named...
