There are two things missing.
Your arms are most likely tied down during the surgery. I didn't even try to move my arms, but later, realized that many women's are tied down. Many second time c-section mommas are asking for their arms not to be tied.

And sometimes (though often doctors will dispute this) the uterus will be removed from the body and placed on the abdomen. Maybe they're watching it to make sure it contracts, or maybe they want to see it better to sew it up, but yea, it happens. It sometimes is not included in the surgical report, but many dads in the OR have reported seeing this.

Oh, and from my experience, the pain after 6 months? Adhesions. I believe the adhesions I had, were broken up during the vaginal birth of my second daughter, because I do not have much pain anymore. [Go VBAC, go!]
