lol, I think I've moved on from my annoying fangirl phase when it comes to Snape. I still love him, though. I'm just more interested in his story than his "sex appeal" now. Now I'm in my annoying Reno fangirl phase. XD But then Reno was made for fangirls, so that's okay. lol
We have to fangirl someone - with you it's Reno, with me it's Lucius ;P
But that's the thing with Snape fangirls... they're extremely shallow in the fact that they see blatant LIES for one thing (i.e. Snape IS sexy! He DOESN'T have greasy hair & yellow teeth! He's so NOT a tremendous bastard...)
My best friend told me this the other day which I thought was really quite poignant - that I have the mentality of a NON-Snape fan but somehow have a deeper love & respect for him than the Snape FANS do. It's weird. Perhaps because I acknowledge that he actually has faults (a LOT of faults) and accept them rather than just denying that he has any at all. Meh?
Thank you, that means a lot. Since I have 52 people on my flist and only two or three comment, I get paranoid that it bores people (when it intruiges me a lot because I'm a huge fan of the backstory). But I'm not going to do that anymore, because at this stage I'm just writing for myself - and that's always a good thing ;)
It always boosts my mood when I hear that people are enjoying it, though. So thank you.
Oh but he IS quiter and less obstrusive as Sirius - but I also saw him as being an extremely proud person, after all his only other sibling is a blood-traitor and a Gryffindor, no less. So I think it would have instilled a deep passion to prove to his mother that he was worthy. Of course, I only introduced him in this chapter, and we kind of see him from Severus's 'annoyed' perspective - but I have a lot more personal obstacles for Regulus to overcome, never fear.
Thanks for being critical, though. These are the kind of comments I'm after :)
