A big angst warning on this one. If you don't like angst and introverted, slow-paced fics - run away and/or don't ever read my entire backlog

It's really hard to write someone who you have pure hatred for, because you need some multi-dimensionalism there too - which hopefully will come. But I have felt like punching the monitor at times.
Strange to see Severus as little more than a toddler (yet, indeed, he must have been). That part is cute but also dramatic because we know how it turns out to be. Also love his struggle with the (muggle) kitchen apparatus. I was rememded that young wizards are not to use magic during shool break, so not instant cooking for him - and no fights in Diagon or Knockturn Alley (I suppose they'll all get into trouble over that incident ?).
I was going to have him struggle with the stove, but you know... the whole Potions Genius thing kind of ruled that one out.
You're right of course, but I always recall Snape's Pensieve scene in OOTP in which Harry see's a teenage Severus in his room shooting down flies - it symbolises to me that Snape did not bother himself too much with the Wizarding law laid down before him. He either got into a lot of trouble or, as I suspect, he found a subtle path around it.

It'll come into play later, I intend them to be a central aspect to the plot.
Thank you for all your inspiring comments :) It's rekindled my love for actually sharing my fics (I usually hide them from the world, you see)
