Would you be able to read a book a month? *Fingers Crossed* Hopefully yes. I'll ditch uni work to keep up. LOL
Genres you enjoy reading: I'll read pretty much anything as long as it sounds interesting and is well written. I like Science Fiction, Supernatural/Paranormal, COmedy, Romance, Mystery/Thriller and a little bit of History. Like I said, pretty much everything.
Genres you would be interested in learning about: I feel like I haven't read enough of/any of the classics, which makes me kinda sad.
Genres you know you would never enjoy: I don't think I've come across a genre that I don't like in some form, yet.
Are you easily able to find books where you live or do you have difficulty finding books: I've got a couple book stores (Mary Ryan, Two Book Citys ( ... )

lol if you fall behind um nothing happens, I guess you'll just participate in discussions about how far you're into the book! It's basically one book a month and we're going to try and give choices so you don't feel like you have to read one book.

I have to say you have awesome choices in novels! Anything by Melina Marchetta or Jaclyn Moriarty is so much love! and you don't discriminate against genres so that's awesome as well!

PS I totally haven't read enough classics either!

thank you! i'm really excited about this book club :D

you don't discriminate against genres so that's awesome as well! i go with the "dont knock it till you try it" saying when it comes to books etc

Pee Ess. I watched plenty of them (like Pride and Prejudice etc) cos my Mum totally loves them, I've just never actually read them. lol

I've been reading some Murakami lately and Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman is absolutely amazing! I think my favorite was "Man-Eating Cats" or something like that... I've got boundless enthusiasm for Murakami's short stories. I hope to read them in the actual Japanese on day :)

And OMG, vampire novels/science fiction - I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't stand either genre! (Though, there are definitely some really good science fiction novels out there - I adore dystopian fiction, for example, but some people consider that a separate genre.)

It's so much happiness to read Murakami. I really enjoyed all of that short stories. 'A Shinagawa Monkey' was really exciting & in a different way totally funny.
Ahh...that Cat Story. Absolutely unique (:

Ya, I've read the Twilight series & that's really enough. And I can't stand Moonlight/True Blood blah blah I can't see those series anymore. So...um...trashy?!?

Ah, the question was would never enjoy XD I enjoy Science Fiction but not so much. Although I really liked Artemis Fowl. I've read the first 3 books and there were really cool. Its Phantastik/SciFi.

"A Shinagawa Monkey" was very good, too - it was so disjointed, but it somehow really made sense.

I read the first Twilight book looong before the fandom started, and was amazed at how much epic phail it was even back then :p A couple of my friends recommended it to me and within the first chapter I was pretty much WTFing at what a loser character Bella was -_-;

...lol. I take it you read the question wrong? Ah well :p I liked Artemis Fowl too, though I think I've only read one or two books. My little cousin has a collection, so sometimes when I visit her I randomly skim through one of the books!

Would you be able to read a book a month? Yes!
Genres you enjoy reading: Fiction in general.
Genres you would be interested in learning about: More fiction, hehe :p Anything but romance stuff is cool with me.
Genres you know you would never enjoy: Romance definitely.
Are you easily able to find books where you live or do you have difficulty finding books: I'm going to say in the middle. If the book is super popular, its easier to find than more obscure books.
Would you be able to lead/enjoy leading a discussion for a book: I guess so.
What book would you recommend members of the book club read: Sloppy Firsts, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, The Alchemist and Invisible Monsters
Anything else? Nope!
