HAAAAY, did you miss me? 8D

Returning to Enlightenment postage with Day 4. Because of course I must make a post for Suyama. Out of the homo side characters, he seems to be uncannily loved by the doujinka (at least according to leviosa8). I can understand why though!! ♥

I really love that part of the manga about proteins. I was really disappointed when they took that out of the anime! ;__; *shakes fist*
he is the best dresser within Nishiura and he pays a lot of attention to what his jersey, cap, bicycle, etc. look like

I was disappointed too!! I love the proteins thing. Same with meoto manzai. RAAHHH. How could you, anime!!
I want to draw Suyama with nice clothes! But I have an Oofuri art block right now...

I don't even get the logic in that, seeing as how so many other things that happen in Oofuri are REALLY SUPER GAY ANYWAY. (I LIKE YOU! NOT JUST AS A PITCHER! Remember that, anime staff?!)

I hadn’t noticed that he had shared his proteins with Sakaeguchi, I had to check with the manga and see with my own eyes to believe! I feel so bad for not having paid attention to this detail, because I consider myself a fan of this pairing!!! *sniff*

I love Suyama because I can identify with him a bit myself. He’s an Aries, just like me!

I confess I expected more scenes/images of Suyama, like:
- page 58 of chapter 38, with Mizutani *__*
- the backcover of volume 9, where they appear in two groups to return home. We can see his clothes there! XD
- Suyama’s expression when Momokan mentions her age XD

Thank you for this post, I had fun reading it. Would you do another one about Sakaeguchi one day? Or do you only post about the “mega-forgotten characters in fandom”?

I agree with the comment above and with you regarding the protein scene that was omitted in the anime, it was such a pity, indeed. Wasn’t it even in the “deleted scenes” of the DVD? Just kidding. XD Sorry for the bad joke =_=U

The protein-sharing moment along with the scene where Sakaeguchi knows Suyama's birthday are what I consider the "early signs" of SuyaSaka. AHAHAHA.

Ah that's true, I didn't include as many images as I should have... ;__; I'll take your suggestions into consideration!
Edit: ... Actually I can't find the last one........

I'd really like to do one about Sakaeguchi because he is also one of my favorite characters, but the point of these posts is to focus on ones that don't get a lot of spotlight in the series so maybe most people don't know about them...

HAHAHA, they should have a Deleted Scenes in the DVD. I want my Meoto Manzai.

I didn't know it either, it must have shown up in some Higuchi interview thing that we all missed. I don't think it's in an omake, but I'll look at them again... X'D

YES, MIZUTANI IS HUGGING HIM. LOL. Also the part where MizuMama says "Fumiki says Suyama-kun is really good at baseball!" HE TALKS ABOUT HIM AT HOME, AWWWWWWWWWWW. <333 MizuMom probably thinks Suyama is Fumiki's boyfriend. But Suyama is already taken, so Izumi goes to steal him. <33

Mizu->Suya<-Saka (and later Suya<->Saka?) is my current obsession. LOVE TRIANGLE?
