4th of July

We had a busy four day weekend here in Maryland.  Friday we drove up to Gettysburg and visited the reenactment. We watched the mortar demonstration but didn't stay for the battle portion. We went up early leaving here at 7ish am and getting there after stopping in Fredrick for breakfast at around 9. We walked through the camps and hubby listened to

I think that I have a parasol exactly like that! I love it! It is so pretty and so good at keeping the sun at bay and it makes me feel like I am back in one of my favorite past lives: the early 1800's....

this week I am going to go buy a life vest since he can't wear water wings here at the pool. I just want something to give me a little extra time to get to him, and so he doesn't stay under if he does go down.
