So, I got quite the wake-up call today. My mom decided to disturb my slumber early this morning by having me open a letter from Lawrence. For a while now, I've been basically thinking that I would either take a year off or go to Lawrence for a year and transfer to somewhere else (like Depaul). 2. Did you apply to Depaul too? Because I think they just might be less selective than Lawrence.

2. No, didn't I tell you about that? I missed the deadline, partially because of Collegeboard.fuckingcom. And I think that there theater program, at least, is more selective.

1. I was waitlisted too, and it seems like those of us who turn in the card will still have a very good chance of getting in. A lot of people who get in don't go there.

I know the pain of being waitlisted. It sucks. But from the sounds of things (looks at Burton's post), you might still have a chance, unlike me at the U. So, figure out what needs to be done and just try to do it. Coming from a fellow procrastinator, I think you can still get in. Otherwise, a year off from school isn't the end of the world.
