When I'm engaged in debating with some person particularly disinclined to use thier cognitive capacities, whose chief arguement against abortion appears to hinge on the killer clause:

*I think women should choose life because otherwise I wouldn't be here*
I am always so tempted to respond I support abortion for that very reasonI never have

Ball was a fancy dress thing, and it was very fun, and I enjoyed it. Even though I don't have any pictures from it there's probably a few other people took floating around. I will ask and endavour to track some down.

Oh... so, had safe, legal, abortion been available to your mom, she would have aborted you? Did she tell you that? If so, that's a hell of a thing to grow up with.

My favorite is, "you wouldn't be here if your mom had gotten an abortion!"

Um.... duh? Oh, no, wait-- you've totally changed my mind! Because if I'd been sucked out when I was just a clump of cells, I'd spend eternity truly regretting the life I could have had.

I also wouldn't be here-- meaning, the me that I am now-- if my father had ejaculated 15 seconds earlier.

There's an argument you can use.

I think you need to learn to release your anger immediately without thinking about it, and take it out on the person who's angering you immediately. Women have too much to do without having to worry about being polite.
