It was!
I didn't quite muster up the courage to go up and ask for an autograph or anything what with him being laden with said child and pastry but I thoroughly enjoyed the moment anyway. I like Bill Bailey a lot.

Or, indeed, if you are an adult.
I can think of few situations which would not be vastly improved by the addition of Bill Bailey.

I have thus far been unsuccesful in my attempts to convince the management to have him as the Official SureStart mascot.
Maybe one day he'll auction off his troll tail on ebay.

Hmmm, not when I spotted them (but that was a couple of days back - I was delayed in the posting of haiku)
I remember the little one had blonde hair but I don't think it could have been anywhere near as fluffy as Bill Bailey's...
