I totally understand what you're going though. In the military if you're hurt or sick or something they tell to to just 'suck it up' or 'drink water'. And while I do agree with them somewhat that some problems are smaller than they seem, a lot of times they're legitimate cases.

The medical profession is an absolute nightmare wherever you go in the world. My best advice to you if you're not happy with your current provider is to go someplace else. How visable that is, I don't know. Either way, eat ice cream, lots of it!

Yeah, I've had just about enough of the NHS so I'm taking out private health insurance where at least things like hospital tests get done very quickly.

i have like 7 GPs working in my GP practice, so I think I'll just stick with the ones who I know are more interested in patient care. Or else take sick leave and go to Yugoslavia to sort out healtcare there and come back all shiney and fit and able to TubeWalk.

sadly the best doctor I've seen there was a locum and he's long gone :(
bah, at least there's like 7 GPs in that medical practice so I shall stick to the ones who seem nicer.
