gad this is so my kind of drama. I WILL WATCH IT ONE DAY. it's been on my to watch list for over a year now XD and i love chiakikuri and yes she plays pyscho bitches 90% of the time and that's WHY i love her XD she was my first ever girl!crush ;_; i saw her in killbill first and well it was love ever since! i feel bad for spamming so much but but I'm bored XD and waiting for ep 8 of leverage to dl lol. i answered your last reply too though 8D

It's so different! And... subtle. It's not often dramas tackle such serious subjects without indulging in full-scale snot-sobbing melodrama.

You know, I was trying to figure out why the main guy looks familiar, then I realized I've been looking at the 20th Century Boys movie cast for the last couple of days. He plays Yamane, the creepy-ass doctor who creates multiple endemic super viruses and indirectly commits indiscrimiate genocide! And he's one of the less evil characters! Good times.

He probably shaved his head because he knew he couldn't compare to his little brother's luscious rippling locks.

Have you ever seen Gohatto? Matsuda Ryuhei, fifteen years old, long, gorgeous hair... as a gay samurai. (It was the first Japanese movie I ever saw. Somehow that seems so fitting.)

It's fitting because I only knew Kuriyama Chiaki from Battle Royale, where she was also fond of sharp objects and no witnesses. Good to see an actress sticking with her niche.

Likewise in Kill Bill. In Kakure Karakuri she limited herself to showing off her l33t karate skillz to Shige, and if I remember right, accidentally pwning Hiraoka Yuta.

And how did Kaname Jun get so goddamn pretty?Deal with ( ... )

I haven't even seen the movies myself~... I'm still reading the manga. (I haven't read Monster either. It's on my list, though, right after 20th Century Boys. Er, maybe with something happy in between. a;skgh I stopped reading One Piece years ago. I really should pick it up again.)

YOU SHOULD. To both. How far did you get in One Piece? Because I freely admit it's ridiculous for a long time, but I've never met anyone who didn't like it after Nami's backstory. It's my favorite manga ever ever ever. *__* Monster is also extremely worth your time. You'll love it; it's so twisted.
