Yessssssssssss. I finally downloaded the last ep of this a couple of days ago, I'm so watching it asap. I even resisted highlighting the spoiler text, that's how much I love Nakama Yukie!
And is there something wrong with me for not wanting her to end up with Kaname Jun? Usually I'm all about him, but I really love Sato Tomohito or whatever his name is now. I watched the Kabuto movie for him! THERE IS NO GREATER SACRIFICE!
I'm glad to hear it's actually more of a murder mystery than a crazy hijink drama; you're right, the marketing has been all over the place. I'll try and watch an ep tonight.
It's surprisingly great! I don't know what they were thinking with the marketing, I wouldn't even have picked it up if someone on my flist hadn't been talking about the mystery.

NOT AT ALL. I mean, granted he is a beautiful marble statute shaped by the hands of God, but Sato's character is SO adorable with all his lingering looks and secret smiles and gruff I-totally-don't-care-except-I-do affection. OTP~! ♥
(Fair warning, the first couple eps are not the best, but if you can power through them the drama starts paying off in a big way.)
I finished this drama...Two daus ago? When were the sub released XD I LOVED THE OTP. I still am hung up on Shuuji/Mai(got brainwashed by Mizobata Junpei being adorable), but this came a close second forthis last 12 months.
I liked this drama a lot, despite the annoying font, what is it with fansubbers, lately? D:, but it took me a couple of episodes. As you said, teget wrong MUCH, and I was a little bit confused at first. It was veeery nice though&à#126.Sato Tomohito is awesome, despite being in dear need to SHAVE, and Nakama Yukie is just so pretty and amazing no matter what...
It's also like the second time in my life I acyually guess something in thriller like this without (too many) hints, so it gets extra affection, lol XD
OTP was ADORABLE, I kept doing this embarrassing thing where I'd squee in my hands whenever they did something cute (which was of course QUITE OFTEN) and I wanted them to bicker and fight crime and share canned drinks forever!
I hear you on subs. One of the many reasons I like softsubs, so I can enjoy my basic, normal, unfrilled fonts in peace.
I remember the exact moment I figured out who Anonymous was, I sat up straight and went "OH!" because it made perfect sense. And then I looked back on the drama and viewed everything in hindsight, and it still made PERFECT SENSE. I'm almost not used to satisfying conclusions in dramas, it was strange but welcome.
