I loved this drama to bits except for one thing - Shizuku living with grandpa at the end. URGH WTF DIE DIE DIE YOU HIDEOUS OLD MAN. It is not the same as her living with Shingo at all!!!
Actually, it's bi!Okada thank you very much! And like i said, i'm on douche!Goro now. Although, i'm way more excited about seeing Kassy (and i might skip to his episodes instead) and his sexy hot voice. *swoons*
YAY YOU'RE TORRENTS ARE BACK!!! BRING ON THE BETTER QUALITY CREEPY KIMURA!!!
I LOVED THIS DRAMA SO MUCH. And I usually hate angsty stuff with dark family secret and melodrama involved.
That kid is adorable, she was the cutest thing ever &hearts:
MATSUDA SHOTA. He takes baths and gets hit in the face with doors. If this drama wasn't perfect already on its own, this would make it so. His character was a s dork xDD, plus his glasses were hot :P
I know, it' perfect the way it is ♥..I'll never get over the shock that I liked this drama so much xDD..It was just awwww.
I totally forgot about that I guess I was kinda distracted staring at his tight jeans! Matsuda Shota being a cute pushover and a lazy bum, hitting on a 8 years old just makes me smile :D
*curious* Did you like the ending? I'm getting several comments that people were unsatisfied.
Me, I thought it was just fine -- of course I would've wanted Eiji and Shizuku together forever, but given the circumstances I was happy that grandpa found forgiveness and a chance to make things right by raising her.
In dramaland, no one has heard of therapy, only elaborate revenge schemes.
Of course.
This looks really interesting! It's rare for a drama to actually balance humor and angst successfully (I can think of a few that have tried and failed). And the little girl looks adorable!
I really need to dig out my DVD set and watch (after checking that the subs something resembling proper English and not Engrish :P - Malaysian DVDs are always a bit of a gamble that way)!
Several people on my f-list loved this drama when it was running, so it does sound very promising.
Hmmm, I don't know how you feel about family dramas, but based on your past preferences I think you have a fair shot of loving it -- there's Tamayama Tetsuji, after all. :D
I'm not into dramas for just the eyecandy, I do like family dramas and plotty dramas as well (though the eyecandy does help on occasion... XD). It does sound very good. And I like romance and reveng plots, so two more plusses from me.
Excellent! This sounds right up your alley, then. (And there is plenty of warm scruffy eyecandy. Takeuchi Yuko is especially gorgeous with long silky hair that makes me jealous.)
