Oven-fried cornbread

I finally remembered to take pictures as I baked something!

Oven-fried cornbread is one of my specialties. My father's mother taught my mother how to make this and in turn my mother taught me. So now I am sharing with y'all!

Yayay! Someone else who knows how to make decent cornbread! I always get the willies when people talk about making cornbread and they do the boxed mix *gags*

I had cornbread and chili last weekend!

I don't know exactly how old that skillet is, but it's at least 50 years if it's a day.
