I think that is a pretty common technique. If my Samma wasn't as adorable as she is she'd've been killed a long long long time ago.

Is he an indoor or outdoor kitty? My Sam is an indoor only cat, and she's 14. Which is crazy to think about, but she doesn't act like it.

I think so too because Dashiell would have been deader than a doornail a long time ago. He's made to it the ripe old age of three thus far.

Dash is my first completely indoor kitty. He likes to run outside, but quickly realizes he doesn't to be there. Tugar, my previous kitty, was indoor/outdoor and lived to 16.

When he was a kitten I tried to scrub it off not realizing it was his nose. His mouth and tongue are mottled like his nose and so are his paw pads. Pink and black.

I've just seen the baby picture and awwwww.. he was so tiny! I think you might have sent me a photo of him, I must have a look and dig it out, because he makes my heart melt. How old is he now?

He was very sick as a kitten was just getting over it when I adopted him. His nose was crusty so I got kitten wipes and promptly bathed him. When it wasn't coming off I realized that it was a mark :P

Dash turned three in August.

Nearly, and it's a survival mechanism because I would have killed a long time ago if he wasn't so damn cute.
