Just don't get annoyed or talk about food, because if you do that accent will be flaunting itself like an attention whore at a voyeur convention.

Or talk about NASCAR. I suppose I should just keep my trap shut...

Just nod and smile and refer all questions to someone else. Basically, act just like Mr. C.

Two days down, three to go. You can do it! Though I am a little concerned about the gashes Dash gave you. Doesn't he realize that it is his job to be cute and comforting, not to cause bodily injury? Hopefully he will calm down as he ages a bit.

He gets overly excited. We're working on when Mummy says no, she really means no.

Yes, three more days *yayaya*

Boys do have trouble understanding the meaning of the word "no" sometimes, don't they?

Yes. *sighs* I hate being mean mummy, but I have to do it for my sanity.

yhggvgv <-- msg from Dash (it probably translates into help me, mummy is mean).

No, don't suppress your accent! I love accents, especially since a Connecticut upbringing never really supplied me with one. I think it's charming, and people that equate southern with stupid and backwards are Neanderthals.

As for Dash- You are a naughty little boy! Your mummy is, I'm quite sure, fond of her face with all of its skin intact. Be a good kitten and play with your toys. Or learn to wear booties. :)

Well, I most definitely have a southern accent. It gets much more pronounced when I get excited or angry or talk about Nascar :P

We're going through the "but I don't really want the dry food, open another can of food woman!" period. He needs to learn to eat the dry food.

Sorry, I forgot to log in.

I can practically hear Dash now: "But the dry food is icky!"
