It has been decided that my old worn out mattresses will be discarded in this week's garbage pick up on Saturday. Which means on Friday evening my father and I will wrestle them out to the curbside and I will be bedless for one evening. I will be enjoying the comforts of the sofa bed (not!), but at least this way the old mattresses are gone and

Your room will really come together over the weekend *squee* All the packing of books, etc... does cut into writing time, but think about the wonderful environment you're creating for future writing *grins*

Someday everything will be put to rights again. Someday... I will be so glad to crawl into my bed on Saturday night and go to sleep I'm sure. I'll just be glad when it's all done. Then I'll get to clean out my closet some day in the near future...

It'll start to take shape once your bed is in there. And it's only one night on the sofa bed... (still not appealing though) Just think Saturday night you'll have your bed up, a nice new mattress and you'll be all set to finish the rest of the room *grins*

Yes, yes I'm trying to stay positive about this but I hate having my brother all up in my stuff too. He wanted to clear out my closet on Saturday, but I have news for him - that will come later because I'm not into that. I just want my bed up and I will need to get my new dresser pretty soon because I need some place to put my clothing :P

You know, once you sleep in your new bed, you can dream better and get more inspiration for your stories and everything will smoothly flow from your brain to your fingertips ;)
You know: The faster you manage these things, the faster you get to writing. Maybe you will grace us with a new chapter soon...

I've got about three pages of a ficlet written... I didn't get to work on it as much as I wanted over the long weekend because of the massive unearthing and the laptop was being tempermental. Hopefully all of that will be rectified soon...

My old mattress actually has a sink hole in it :P The cat likes to sleep in the hole (it's that big really). That is what prompted this whole effort on my part. I haven't had a bed in years and years, probably since I moved back home. I had this bed that I hated so I just got rid of it and I never had the money to buy a new bed until recently.

Then I bought this bed in queen size and splurged on a new mattress. I'm so excited. Which is silly really, but I am.

I've still got a cough, but it's slowly getting better. Getting my room totally cleaned out, carpets cleaned and everything dust free will help oodles :)
