As has been the case for the last few years, two fun beer events happened on the same weekend.  On Friday and Saturday, Cambridge Brewing Company had their "Nineteen beers for Nineteen years" celebration of their nineteenth anniversary.  Saturday was the last day of NERAX, the New England Real Ale eXhibition - a festival of cask conditioned (real) ( Read more... )

Later she told me that she didn't care for the Golden Ring either, which made me feel a little guilty.

Aw, I suck! I'm sorry, I was only drunkenly trying to demonstrate my L-O-V-E for ya.

I think the thing about the Golden Ring was that drinking it head to head with the Late Harvest really put it at a disadvantage. I think that if it had been my first beer of the, uh, afternoon, I'd have liked it a lot more.
