I still don't have a smart phone (my phone is as old as the dinosaurs).
I might get one soon but I kind of want to wait and see what the new iPhone will be like. I have an iPod touch now and I guess I do like Apple for these things (but I might go with non-Apple in the end if It's too expensive).
I hope you enjoy your phone. Getting new electronics is always fun. :)
I used to have this cheap old one (like Nokia old), but last year or something like that I got a tactile non-smartphone that worked pretty well for the 3 basic uses I gave it (phone calls, alarm clock, contact book.) But as my brothers had an iPod Touch and another Galaxy Ace, and I couldn't call the tablet mine... I felt a bit obsolete, especially with online friends posting on Twitter or Plurk from buses or whatever.
I favor the Android side better because it feels more familiar to an IT person. It has a raw Linux/Unix feel sometimes that has nothing to do with Apple's user-friendly rigidity. Professional deformation, I guess.
Yeah part of the reason I want an iPhone is because all of my stuff is saved on iTunes from having iPods for so long. I just think it will be easier to import everything to the iPhone.
Of course I have everything saved on CD too so if worst come to worst I can import that way too.
And yeah I can use my iPod to pick up wireless but it would be nice to get on a 3G or 4G network.
I can understand that! If you're used to something and it works great for you, it's easier to make a transition to that. The iPod Touch is pretty much an iPhone with no phone anyway, so there should be a solid way to import. And I suppose iOS is easier to understand, although Android isn't hard either. But yeah, it would be a shame to lose all the Apple Store apps that are incompatible.
Awesome! :DD *phone brofist* I got mine on white because my brother had a black one. At least I already had tried some apps in the tablet so I knew what to install. For some of them the screen was too small, but oh well. I like to slide shit!
The only Tezuka I've read was two volumes of Adolf in a library. But it's cool to see where shoujo comes from, despite the occasional plotholes with Sapphire's hearts here and there.
It fell on the floor once and it hasn't broken! It gets heated up in minutes and the battery is spent quicker in 4.0, so I do hope it stays well inside. It's a local brand known for being universally bad at electronics.

Congrats on your new purchases. Hopefully the tablet will turn out to be sturdier than you thought.
