the disney memeI really SHOULD study today, be productive. It's not like I can play videogames or anything, unless it's that game with the anorexic asshole and the looks-like-an-ugly-Kaworu godmode creep. I could make icons, but I'm lazy ( Read more... )

Rurouni Kenshin ♥

I was actually watching some random episodes from the first arc the other day. I love it but I am still upset they never animated the last arc. But at least there is the manga. Not the first but definitely one of the first series I got into. :D

And actually at the time I read the last arc of Kenshin with just translations because it was before scanlations became big. But now I have all of the actual manga (no colored ones though :( )

I did read the text translations before finding scans ^^ Not only the Jinchuu arc... everything. Actually, it took me ages to find the whole series.

I think I don't mind the lack of Jinchuu (except for lame references in the last OVAs, which I didn't like) in anime that much because my love for RK comes from before I was a manga whore. I was more indulgent with anime/manga differences when I was younger. Although even before I knew what a filler was and which ones were one, I DID call bullshit in all of the filler arcs post-Shishio. Geeeeeeez, those were so bad. I couldn't even finish the Feng Shui crap.

Delicious Kenshin. To this day it is the only fandom that I have left and come back to repeatedly. I had a Sano doll that I used to sleep with until his eyes rubbed off.

Also yay Sword in the Stone. That's my favorite disney movie. Even though Wort's voice keeps changing and he says "Whoa-what-OOHHH" like 14 times.

I think I never really ventured to that fandom, except for checking out fansites and stuff. Not even fanfiction. Then again, I did the same with most 90's anime series I followed.

I only watched it in English once when I was little, so I can't recall about Wart's voice...

That's what makes the world go round~

I'm sure I've seen it in Spain on DVD, probably in some department store. But I bet it's out of print by now. But eh, my mom downloaded a load of Disney movies including SitS so I can always see it pirate if I can't get it.
