Hey up, straw poll: If Crowley took to wearing some 'wanky little necklace' because he likes moving with the times but god love him does not exactly hit the cutting edge of fashion when he does it, what do you think he'd wear on it? I am considering charms and the options are many and it seems uninspired to just go with a snake though it's likely

Oh, dear. I misread your query the first time through and thought it was Crowley who was dressing as he had in the 1960s. I had thought the page boy haircut was SUCH a good look for him. So based on that misunderstanding on my part, I was going to suggest that Crowley wear the peace symbol around his neck, which would be delicious irony. But now I need to think generically, rather than slotting him into a particular era based on his clothes. I think the peace symbol would still work, though. Crowley might have picked it up while living in the '60s and still has it.

I’m not sure this qualifies as a “wanky little necklace,” but the first thing that came to mind is one of Aziraphale’s feathers on a chain next to his heart.

(If Crowley has a heart, he would say. But he does at least according to Aziraphale. And Crowley believes Aziraphale even when he can’t or won’t believe in himself. I think Crowley would get completely shmoopy once it’s “okay” because he’s got millennia of these feelings to let out and process. And it makes Aziraphale happy.)
