I feel like the only person on the planet that hasn't seen the new star trek, but I'm dying to.

also, Mike being a Star Wars geek makes me so fucking happy every time I think about it.

Oh you should go. I have sent many people to that movie and most of them had absolutely know idea about the ST franchise at all, but they still loved it. I've seen it three times because I am a silly child and because it is so incredibly AWESOME.

Mike is a giant dork. I love it. My boyfriend (who has covered our living room in Star Wars crap) loves to remind me that my two greatest loves are both members of the Star Wars faction and not the Trek. Well, there's no accounting for taste, I suppose.

The movie will make you happy. I promise. It's wonderful.

I'm sort of delighting in the Sulu/Chekov as well, though. It's adorable.

But other than that, I find myself gravitating toward Kirk/Spock when it comes to movie-verse. Because of the pretty? And the tension. And, you know, Spock.

I haven't read many Sulu/Chekov fics but that is TOTALLY the word to use. Although, my second thought would be "jail bait," but that's neither here nor there.
