Grandpa/Gone for the Weekend

My Grandpa fell and fractured his C6 vertebrae. He needs surgery in order to repair it. Thankfully, he wasn't paralyzed, but he is in a LOT of pain right now because they can't give him pain meds due to his blood pressure (???).

At any rate, I'm going to Iowa as soon as I can pack, call Kevin to see if he'll join me, and get gas.

Some pain killers affect blood thickness, which could put your grampa in risk of bleeding to death, would be my assumption

A pain killer will thin his blood and can cause way too much bleeding and a lack of clotting.
