I'd swear the cat is a spawn of the devil. He sleeps half the day away then sneaks around all night trying to find something that will wake the resident humans up so that, apparently, they will play with him. I've taken to closing my bedroom door at night to keep Sneaky Pete out of my room while I'm trying to sleep

AHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh, he is a classic cat! He was guarding you from the bed bugs. (I hate to say it, but they do often sit and wait for you to wake up. And sometimes give little prods to encourage you.)

Yeah, I've been prodded a few times already. Those I can deal with. LOL It's that unrelenting feeling of being watched that threw me for a loop last night.

He really is a good kitty. It's just that he's even better when Older Son is around to keep him occupied. :D

LOL Neither the cat nor I expected any of that to happen. I didn't expect to wake up with a CAT less than a foot from my face just STARING at me. The cat didn't expect my arm to come flying out from under the covers to smack him off the bed. hehe If he had expected it, I'm sure he'd have used his newly-healed kitty!claws to hang on to the bed! Instead, WHOOSH! He ended up half-way across my bedroom.

Thankfully both boys are home now and I can go back to closing my bedroom door at night. Uninterrupted sleep is a wondrous thing.
