I have this feeling that Lao Shen Sheng's storytelling is more true than even Ying Ru knows. But then again, I get lots of feelings, too bad I can't marathon this book to find out if my guesses/feelings are correct. Those were Ying Ru's memories of her past life? There was definitely a very surreal and dreamlike atmosphere, there is no beginning and end, and you're just there (that be Inception talking). Did old Ying Ru commit suicide or self harm?
I really want to see more of Yie Feng. Don't tell me he's giving up because of guilt already? I might be reading too much of a certain type of xianxia, but guilt seems like a pretty common and damning flaw in male xians.
Inception was a good movie!! Interesting concept too. Love em thrillers haha
Ying Ru's dream is obviously not normal, but for the girl, it's probably easier to accept that she's just getting too into those stories. I mean Yie Feng tagging along to her dreams is pretty normal haha. Yes & Yie Feng just disappeared I know. Of course, that guy that went into her room could or could have not been him... Now that you mention it, true that lots of guys in the xianxia novels (at least the ones I've read) get tortured by guilt!
