ALSO OMGWTFBBQ!!!! I still hadn't got cuaght up on eps and was like "aw, fuck it" and watched last night without being totally lost (bless you, spoilerz). My brain has been brokenated.
And I totally blame House for my lack of squee, that magnificent bastard.
This is why it's good to go on the Heroes news comms. XD There was this press-release thingy where they named five characters who are definitely, utterly, totally, if-they-don't-you-can-shoot-Tim-Kring-himself coming back next season, and two of them were Peter and Nathan.
SO, NOT DEAD. And, dude, also? If Nathan was dead then I'd have to spend all my Uni-money on a gun and a plane ticket to L.A., so NO. NO.
OK, THIS SEASON FINALE WAS UNBELIEVABLY 'EEEEEEEEEEEEE'.
- I so, so hope Matt doesn't die. I LOVE MATT.
- When he said his name was Noah, I LITERALLY yelled this (WORD FOR WORD) out loud: HE HAS A NAME! HE HAS A NAME! OH MY GOD, HE HAS A NAME! IT'S NOAH! THAT'S...REALLY WEIRD! BUT HE HAS A NAME!!!!!!!!!!
- And, this time literal squealing at Hiro-in-Japan: THAT'S SO COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!
- The Nathan/Peter was rampant. (There was also evidence of Matt/Mohinder, Peter/NOAH, and Sylar/EVERYONE EVER).
- WE'D BETTER GET SOME MORE MOLLY/MICAH INTERACTION NEXT SEASON! The utter, utter

HUZZAH! NATHAN! He has actually grown on me as a character, and makes me squee with evil joy. AND MATT HAS FINALLY STARTED KICKING ASS AND TAKING NAMES. Which makes for Happy Happy Eli.
YES. HEIAN JAPAN KICKS ASS. [I'm assuming it's Heian - roughly 10th to 13th centuries AD - because of the banners that the men have strapped to their backs, but it might be Sengokujidai (the Period of the Warring States) which was 14th - 17th centuries. YMMV and we shall see. BUT IT WAS AWESOME, VERY VERY AWESOME, AND NOW MY MUM WANTS TO WATCH HEROES AS WELL IN ORDER TO PRACTICE HER JAPANESE. XD]
I can't phone you tonight cause I'm lame and left my phone at school *dies*, but I'll retrieve it tomorrow during drum class and phone you then, yes?
Also, here's a beginning!

They have escaped notice for the past five years, this sleepy little village in southern France; more of a glorified hamlet, where chickens scratch idle in the rutted dirt roads and cars are still an uncommon sight. Mielle-St.-Laurent, of some hundred and twenty-five

I THINK NATHAN IS MY FAVOURITE. I want to write a fic showing that maybe Nathan is the one with the heart, after all. Just because it's fun to fuck with what they tell us. And you know that little caption they always have where they tell you the character and their location? It said, 'Hiro Nakamura, Kyoto, Japan, 1671'.
Beginning = LOVE. OBVIOUSLY, BECAUSE HOW COULD I NOT. XD
...riiight so I was right the second time! XD It's the Edo-jidai! [brief history lesson:-]
9th - 14th centuries: Heian and Kamakura periods. Peace, prosperity, literature, theatre, one united Japan. Imperial Court at Kyoto.
14th century: Fall of the Heike family, Japan becomes lots of squabbling little feudal states, each ruled by a daimyo or warlord. Continues like this for 400-odd years. Christianity and Western fashions introduced via Dutch and Portugese traders in the 16th century
