The tv ate my brain

Nov 10, 2005 00:29

After a brutal week of midterms, I've been vegging out and killing my brain cells by watching an excessive amount of tv. I caught up on the first season of Grey's Anatomy this weekend, and then re-watched the eps of the second season. I think it's safe to say that I love it as much as VM, BSG, and Scrubs. I've also been watching the first season ( Read more... )

I figured that was Meg's dad in the promo with the bat. Do you remember the speculation that her sister had two black eyes in Green-Eyed Monster. Makes me wonder if that was intentional. Actually, it had to be intentional. This show is just too good with the little things for it to not have been.

I'm curious as to whether Meg and her sisters were/are abused themselves. I'm leaning towards 'no' since Meg has her head pretty straight on and she wanted to report her babysittee's parents. Then again, her little sister did have black eyes, so who knows. I'm almost positive that the black eyes were intentional, and it's going to connect to this week's MotW. God, I love this show.

I can't believe you're seeing GoF without me. I feel like...betrayed, man. Of course, it's not like I would WANT you to wait for me--that's too much to ask. Plus, I want to see it on opening night, too, I don't wanna wait! But then, I WANNA SEE IT WITH YOU! As every day goes by and the 18th draws nearer, I this feeling of "WTF I can't believe I'm not seeing it with Yuen" intensifies. *wah*

P.S. You're still going back to T.O. for it, right?

See, I think I could hold out until December to see GoF with you but a) I know you're going to end up seeing it opening weekend, and b) I don't think I can stay away from cut-tags for a month and a half. Not like I would actually be spoiled since I've read the book a gazillion times, but you know what I mean.

I was just complaining to the roommates the other day about how it wouldn't be the same seeing it without you. I mean, who's going to snark with me about the gay undertones of the movie, mock the occassional terrible acting, and groan about the over-cheesiness of some scenes? IT JUST WON'T BE THE SAME. I NEED TO SEE THIS WITH YOU. I know it won't be the same, but we can see it again in December when we're back home. (Sidenote, but there are like 10 movies I want to see coming out in the next month. Wtf.)

If all else fails, we can download the movie and watch it together over the phone. And yes, I'm completely serious.

I'll be back in Toronto Thursday night. When are you heading back to Montreal?

Oooh! All the options are enticing! Over the phone is fine. =P ( ... )
