Ok...dual purpose presents are the greatest gifts...

for example...

giving your dad Stratego.

we played tonight, and i beat him in the first game.

the 2nd game we played for almost TWO HOURS!! and then we called it a draw. simply amazing.

um...how is that dual purpose?

isn't the purpose of the game to PLAY it?

especially with other people?

now, if your dad had used it as fire kindling after you two had just played a game, THAT would be dual purpose.

am i right or am i right?

it is dual purpose because not only does he get to play it, but so do i.

the game itself doesn't do more than one thing...but it serves two purposes because it's like a gift to more than one person.

it's like when i was little...i bought my dad a football and kicking tee...now, i'd really like to see a dad use a kicking tee when he plays football for fun. however, with my 7 year old, keen mind, i knew that i really liked that kicking tee...and could probably get some good use out of it. therefore...it was a dual-purpose present.
