well, my wisdom teeth are out and my face is all swollen up like crazy, but mostly i feel okay, just it hurts to eat and talk and things like that. we got the pigs to-day, two lovely red tamworths named rogue and gambit--they have already escaped twice, driving maria to tears, but at the moment they are snoozing in their strawbed in the hoghouse,

nooot yet, but maria did. however, mine seems to have gone a lot smoother than maria's overall because she was still in bed unconscious with vicodin on the second day and i'm already bored enough to want to go back to work.

That's how mine and my brother's were. I lay on the couch for about half an afternoon and then got bored, and I didn't use the pain meds at all; my brother was laid up stoned for like a week.

One of my friends just linked me to this modern illuminated Bible, and it's really beautiful and I thought you would like it. The first page of Ecclesiastes took my breath away, and the Gospels are amazing.

I haven't had my wisdom teeth out -- apparently the way mine are situated it's sort of risky, and since they don't bother me, they're not coming out -- but I always wince when I hear someone's had their out. It sounds NO FUN. I'm glad you're feeling a little better!
