I had a good weekend back in Connecticut, Allison's party was a lot of fun. As I figured, two people arent coming down for my birthday but hopefully Allison, Christy, Jenn and Megan can make it down here. It's laaaaadies night. The 18th going to Mohegan Sun casino with family so I can lose mo' money.. but mo' money mo' problems so its aiiiight yo. ( Read more... )

Just be sure to vote republican, cause the Draft Bills were both introduced and co-sponsored by Democrat House and Senate members.

sorry, definately not voting for Bush. I really think if the dem's were for the draft it would be a big "f u" for bush getting us in this war that cannot be won.i really hate the whole party crap anyway.. I just vote based on the person running and their own beliefs and what I want them to strive for in this country. no politcal debate in my journallll so that is all

I don't expect you to vote for Bush... I don't know if I am going to vote for him either... and I'm not trying to start a debate.

I did the research on the bills myself, there aren't ANY republican congressmen signed onto them. It is absolutely a big FU to the President because I know that more than one person has told me that the REPUBLICANS want to reinstate the draft, and it's not true. It's important to know what the people you're voting for stand for, and you absolutely should vote with people who best represent your ideas. But as far as this issue goes you may be stuck with a representative who's more interested in making another party look bad than representing their constituents.
